Membership Information

Thank you for your interest in the Louisiana Art and Artists' Guild. We are pleased that you have chosen to invest in the future growth and cultural potential of the arts. We encourage you to join our organization and if you have any questions please call our office at 225-930-7542 or come by just to visit and view the fabulously unique works of our members.

Membership Dues

Membership is open to any individual 18 years or older, artists of all levels and those who wish to support visual arts. Our membership year is from January to December. Returning members should pay their dues in January. We accept new members throughout the year. Regular dues are $35. We also offer a student discount price of $25. The Art Guild is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, registered with the IRS as the Louisiana Art and Artist's Guild. Your member fees and donation are tax-deductible.

Benefits

Be sure to take advantage of your membership perks by enrolling in one of our various workshops and by displaying your work in one of our many exhibitions.

Meetings

Board meetings are held the third Thursday of every month at the Studio in the Park, 2490 Silverest Ave., from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. Board Meetings are open to all members.

Membership meetings are periodical and are announced by email and in the newsletter.

Informal gatherings are held at the Studio in the Park on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00am - 4:00pm, and on Sundays from 1:00pm - 4:00pm. These Open Studio sessions are open to all LAAG members.

Involvement

The Guild is organized to serve the needs of its member investors through its volunteer staff. There are standing committees to organize activities for various projects and functions. Please indicate on the membership form any area you would like to volunteer and you will be contacted with more information. With your support, great things can be accomplished for the area and for the arts. We welcome your participation and encourage you to become actively involved in the Guild and have fun at the same time.
